The first industrial facilities of the Biobalt company in Kaliningrad were put into operation in March 2016, and in June we already harvested the first crop and delivered it to those who wished to buy mushrooms in bulk. In the nearest future, the planting areas will be increased, that will allow us to significantly increase production volumes.

Today we grow only white champignons and we do it using the most modern technologies. We do not use doubtful chemicals in order to make products more marketable (bleaching of mushrooms). We use only organic compost, as the best mushroom producers in Russia and Europe.

High crop yield is ensured by modern European equipment and precise observance of crop cultivation technology. Using latest method of overhead irrigation and ventilation guarantees the safety of employees.

Today, the first stage of construction has been completed and only part of the capacity is operating. The area on which mushrooms are grown is 1800 sq.m. This allows us to collect about 35 tons of products per month. In the nearest future, it is planned to expand the area to 6000 sq. m, accordingly, the volume of production will increase.

The availability of all test protocols stipulated by the legislation, the “Declaration of Conformity”, strict compliance with GOST standards and the constant introduction of innovative technologies allow us to confidently claim the title of the best producer of champignons in Russia, if not in terms of production volume, then in terms of product quality.
